Recently whilst on Holiday we took our French press with us so we could have some nice coffee whilst we were away. I took some of Hasbean’s Gethumbwini pre-ground nice and coarse for use with the French Press.
I have to say I really enjoyed the break from Espresso-based drinks. This coffee was wonderful in the French press, really juicy and interesting. Made me realise how it’s easy to get stuck in a rut, with coffee. Far better to use different techniques from time to time so that you get a different viewpoint.
To that end I’ve just re-ordered some more of the same coffee so I can experiment with it as espresso as we didn’t get much of a chance to do that before grinding it for the Press.
